HELP I’m sending SPAM emails to my friends !

So everybody in my address book is receiving some strange SPAM emails from me but I’m not sending any emails to anyone.
This was happening when I had my old computer but now it started again even though I have a new computer !!!
I run KIS 2012 and I also did a check with Malwarebytes and I deleted all the infected files that came up !!!
What now ?!?!
Did anyone here had this problem before….and if so, what do I have to do to get this solved !!!

you need to change your password too. Hopefully the items you deleted were what caused you the harm so you can move past this.

I had this happen to me, too. It is not that your email-account was hacked but that someone is simply using your address as the sender. Ask your friends to look inside the header and check whether it is your ip…

But it sends emails to all my address book, not just a few contacts !!!!

What emial you using? a hosted service such as hotmail, gmail, yahoo etc.?
If so, as some one already mentioned above, you need to change your password as its more liley that you have been phished than have an infection on your machine

Are you by any chance using Outlook Express ?

It’s my yahoo account that it’s sending these emails.
I don’t use Outlook !!!
The same thing was happening with my wife’s yahoo account.

happened to me before, change everything, your password to a much secure password, your reset questions, everything with that account.

yup, some one has just got your user name and password and using your account to send out spam.
You probably opened an attachment from an unknown user, or you got phised and put your login details into fake website. Change them all as suggeedt and be more carefull about what you are opening and clicking.
