hi i just got a cingular 8525 from my friend cause the screen stays white when you turn it on but you can still hear the power on sound so i did a hard reset on the phone and the screen isnt broke cause it says are you sure you want to reset so i reset it and it stayed white does any one know how to fix this or have any ideas if you do please post thanx

Try updating the ROM. See a few of these and this has helped with some. heres a link
