Ok it’s like this I have 2 computers right and one of them can go on the internet but the other one can’t it’s connected to a router but it says it’s conected but i still cant connect to the internet and i tryed the firewall but it’s not that if some one could walk me throw the steps that would be nice it did work but i had to restore my computer. thanks

maybe you have to contact you internet oprator, probaly they allow only one inetrnet connection

It’s not that becuz i have had the other computer working but then i restore the other computer and now the other one cant get internet even tho it’s connected. i read on line about pinging it or something but i dont know wat it is

maybe you made the ip adress static ? when i do that my parents get smiling…

open up your router control panel, the best advice I can give u is to follow http://www.portforward.com/guides.htm
if it still doesn’t work out, let me know

yea i still not sure i found my router Microsoft MN-100 my external IP address is 76.104.68.54 thats wat the site says dont no if that would help

follow the guides concerning your specific router..
see if u have acces to your router from the not-working pc…
btw: is it a wireless? if so, u should probably just fill in the WEP pass…
