HD2600XT or 8600GT Fatal1ty?

August 5th, 2016

Title says everything – which one is best to buy?
No 8800’s or relatives ( or similars ), they’re around 1600, 1500 here. It’s a normal gaming pc price.
Also, Is Sapphire good for HD2600XT?
Thx in advance.
P.S.: Please dont say HD2900XT or 8800GT ( or similar ) please, keep on topic; HD2600XT or 8600GT Fatal1ty.

I don’t know what kind of processor you have or whawt your system configuration is but you should go for a little more than 450W. Get at least 500W just to be safe. Good luck mate^^

I WILL have a new processor.. so far that’s the configs:

  • MoBo: ASUS M2N-E SLI
  • CPU: AMD Athlon64 X2 5200+
  • VGA: Radeon HD2600XT Sapphire
  • Memo: 2x1Gb DDR2 Kingston 800MHz
  • PoSupp: Huntkey 450W

A higher power supply is necessary?
Answer #6
Yep, you should get a good power supply. Your PC might not work well with a weaker one. Good luck mate^^
