Having to continually reset modem?

Guys for a few weeks my connection has been cutting out. I will be on the net and all of a sudden my connection drops. I check my connection and it says I am connected the internet even when it drops completely. To get it back I have to turn the modem on/off and than it starts working fine again.
Any idea what it could be? Bad modem?

I used to have a problem like that years ago when I had the router connected via USB, switching to ethernet connection solved it.

Either the modem is on it’s way out or get in contact with your ISP and see if they have any problems.
