Gmail fails to upload attachments

every time i try to attach something bigger than 1mb my shitty gmail fails, I tried this tens of times every time it fails. My internet connection is pretty descent DSL but i dont get it I can upload in rapidshare and other places fine but gmail always fails to attach files bigger than 1mb

whats the extension? they have recently started blcking compressed files

Gmail as a “Classic” version somewhere, at least it used too. I ran into the same issue and solved it by changing to it.

I usually try to attach pdfs, images, rar, zip still it keeps failing to attach, I need to be able to attach files when I send to people

Would Have had an idea but you said files above 1 mb, so its not a general problem. Try using classic version or the new version, that might help. Or..can you use it with outlook? I dont use outlook, hate it, but using a program like that might solve the problem.

How are you sending the mails – webmail or an e-mail client (eg. Outlook) ?
If you are using webmail, try a different browser.

If its a .exe file or u try to upload a zip,rar which has .exe may not be able to upload.

Try changing the file extension as a test, for example video.avi to video.txt

well I switched back tot he original ill see if it works but I dont think the file format has anything to do with it
i switched to the classical crap still doesnt work
