Given a Nice PC but Need some Advice

my cousins given me his old pc as he has built a new monster pc
atm it has 4gb DDR3 Ram in it
i3 Processor unsure on the graphics card yet as i aint got an hard drive for it and he didnt tell me what it was guessing its a good one as it played skyrim on it
im looking for the cheapest place for a 150 – 250 gb internal hdd and 2gb DDR3 ram chip

Just searh ebay you should be able to pick up a sata 250gb 3.5 for under £10
150-250gb hard drives are hard to find. Hard drive market is still overpriced.
Make sure that there is a free ram slot(s), and that you buy 2 2/1gbs so your RAM runs in quad-channel mode. Also make sure the speed of the RAM is the same.
If you want the computer to perform better, getting more RAM probably isn’t your solution.
How can you expect anyone to give you a place to purchase a hard drive when no one knows your location?
Hard drive prices are still very high so buying now will incur a premium. However smaller sizes like what your after should be much cheaper as very few people want such small sizes.
You should verify what hdd interface the PC provides, it is almost certainly SATA but making sure is a good idea IMO. There is no point in wasting money.
eBay is probably your best bet.
£35 for 320gb on ebay mate
