I have installed the game and can play but i cannot save without a live account and then it asks for a serial. Is there a way around this. Thanks http://www.google.com?t=4300691

No, there is no way around this because the game isn’t registered with a serial number.

the windows live is asking for the serial, correct?

create an offline account, you shouldn’t need a key.
