Fatal error from custom OS

hi i just installed this Vista ultimate speedy v4 edition. everything run so fast because it removed almost everything already. however, most of them are still usable for me like printer. while i’m installing my printer, it shows a fatal error. now i can’t print my homework. i really need my printer to work. please help me guys!!

I don’t think you can fix it…Most of the printers core drivers have been removed from it…You might have to reinstall a different vista to use your printer…

their fast cos most of the subsystems have been removed. windows isnt designed to have its subsystems removed, so when it tryes to use a part and finds that it isnt there, it crys

Thanks for the help. alright then i guess i have to reformat my laptop again. but wut are the good and fast vista OS.

Never install a slim down OS unless its for a 10 year old computer. If you plan on using Vista than you should have a decent computer with dual core and 2GB of ram. I recommend FULL installation of Vista and then you go to Services.MSC and disable things you dont need. First thing you disable are annoying UAC and the AERO look which takes up 500MBs of ram just for its crappy visual effects so you disable it.

well i did disable alot of services and it doesn’t help anything. My resources is still the same. can you tell me wut should i disable then?
