Extracting multiple files at once in Ubuntu?

Still getting to grips with ubuntu but enjoying it so far, was just wondering if anyone knew about using the default built in file extracter? with windows and WinRAR if i had multiple rar files that i wanted to extract together i would simply highlight all of the files and extract them, doesnt seem to work on ubuntu.. and i got a new film that i really want to watch ..

Why not try 7Zip from the software center….

You mean *.part01.rar etc? Simply extract the first one.
