eset nod32 antivirus business edition

whenever i download a file with a virus eset pops up and warns me that the file i have downloaded is a virus and quarantines it but doesnt delete the file itself, im confused if eset is working properly or not, is it suppose to not the delete the file that it detected/quarantined and make me delete the file?

Yes, it’s working properly. You have to delete yourself.
