Dvd drive wont work

August 5th, 2016

Ok so I don’t know how long this hasn’t been working for since I rarely used it, but I’ve tried everything
-cleaning the lens
-editing registry info
– uninstalling drivers and rebooting The drive is recognized in the bios, there’s no problems in device manager when I right click it in my computer and try to eject it won’t respond, nothing works, dvd’s cd’s burning wont work I hear it spinning inside for a while but then it just stops, when I inserted a disc months ago it responded with a box saying what options I could do burn.copy etc now nothing, is there anything else I could do?

I think your dvd drive’s lens is probably having some kind of problem. Either you have to replace the lens with a new one or take a new dvd drive..
