does the rs link stay the same? [solved]

i was talking to a friend about how i did a test on this, but i wanted to make sure….those of you who have more than 1 rs account could tell me better than i could myself i bet, so i was wondering…if you have a ton of files on 1 rs account and you transfer to another, does the link to those files always stay the exact same? i just did a test, and i uploaded a pic, copied the link…transferred it to another rs account and did a search on the page for the link i copied earlier from the previous account and it was the exact same…so my question is will the link stay the same no matter how many times you transfer a file and what not?

i never tried, but it shouldn’t change
you can test by uploading a file to a account then transfer it to another and check if the links change

normal links like this stays the same…but direct links to server cheanges

so if i have just normal links like a normal download link it wont change no matter how many times i transfer it to a different account and back or whatever right?

well, ceej dont get confused ,
When u transfer a file from one account to other the file links always remains the same , it’s just that the file attributes associated to the account changes, rest all is same..

what do you mean by attributes?

well,
if u transfer a file from ABC a/c to XYZ, the attributes i.e. the account name linked to that file changes.. not the links of the file.
