Do i need to reflash my banned xbox 360[solved]

My brother asked me to download arkam city and skyrim for 360 for him
But the xbox he is using is still on one of the ixtreme firmwares, I think its the
last one before LT was released but I’m not sure.
The xbox is already banned so do I still need to update the drive or can he just use the ixtreme boot disc to boot unsupported discs, waves, or whatever.

Thanks for the info, atleast i don’t have to buy any new boards or stuff like that since its an older xbox and drive. hopefully my ck3 and probe still work.
can you guys recommend a CFW for my fat PS3 3.55, figure i might as well get around to modding that to while I’m breaking out the ol’ consoles and tools.

I flashed my xbox yesterday to the newest LT.
What i did was update to the latest dashboard(did it with a usb stick) and then i flashed LT using the dummy.bin that i had extracted from my xbox 2 years ago when i flashed it for the first time. My maximus 360 with spear didn’t let me extract the dvd key so that’s why i used the dummy.
You should check first if the ck3 and probe are still supported with the newest jungle flasher and xbox dashboard. Don’t install a new dashboard if you are not sure your ck3 and probe will still work or if you don’t have the dummy.bin file from the past.
The new dashboard overwrites the ixtreme firmware on the xbox 360!

Thanks for the info, i’m pertty sure jungle flasher still supports the ck3 and probe I don’t see why it wouldn’t unless its no longer required. I’ll double check when I download jungle flasher monday tho.
