DNS Redirecting

i’m working on making a FFXI Private server take connections from PS2 clients.
however i nee dto redirect ffxi00.pol.com and pp000.pol.com to the Server’s IP say 192.168.1.151
i DO have A windows server 2003 R3 PC setup w/ a DNS Role but i’ve never fiddled w/ DNS much.
Any idea how i can get my server to take any inquires on my networl for those two URLS to the Private server’s IP?

try contacting whoever is hosting these and tell them you want a redirect setup

When explaining what you need to done when it comes to networking. It is good practise to be clear and precise on what you need.
But yeah what you are wanting is forwarding, and paroxys answer sounds correct. Been i while since ive learned about it. Research on google using keywords such as “conditional forwarding” “DNS Redirection”. Any information that you obtain is useful. Good luck

well it is working and not and Why its not working is one simple PS2 online matter. “DNAS”so till i can patch that and make a custom Client on PS2 for ffxi what i neede dhelp w/ .. has been usefull atleast for the Project
