Desktop tower fan with laptop?

i have a desktop which doesnt work anymore.probbly the motherboard fryed or the supplier.more likely the motherboard i gues.cpu fan works still and gpu works barely ..gpu is fryed too haha.
specs of the desktop:
intel core 2 quad 2.4ghz i think cant remember
nvidia geforce 8600gs 512mb
3gb ddr3 ram
windows vista home prem 32bit
so i have a new good laptop
specs
intel core i7 2630QM 3ghz
8gb ddr3 ram
nvidia geforce gt 540M 2GB CUDA
windows 7 64bit
so what im asking is
is it posible to use the fan from desktop with this laptop? so that the laptop can cool more and better gaming whereas this would prevent my laptop from overheating from long term gaming.

may be you cant use desktop cooler fan on Laptop. better idea buy External laptop Cooler fan.

Your best bet is get a laptop cooler fan that is the right size for your laptop, and try and get one that you can move the fans on it, so you can place them where your laptop has those exhaust fans. If you use one of these and use it like i said, your laptop should stay cool, but the point of a laptop is to bring it elsewhere and it being portable, some people do not consider the extra fans as portable.

yes you can . use Via HDMI or VGA Cable.
