Copying bought DVD?

August 7th, 2016

Like I’ve said, does it work?
I want to copy my DVD so I can maybe upload it and share it or copy to another CD.
I have tried to copy it but I don’t think it worked. I actually don’t know how to.
Information on how to copy a bought DVD will be great.
I hope it’s not hard to do

Its not hard mate, Get nero, Make sure you have the disc you want too copy, Make sure you have a blank DVD disc you want too copy it too
Simple
Answer #2
No, Nero won’t work. It doesn’t bypass the copy protection.
Here’s a tutorial that explains it well:

No, nothing is done to the DVD
DVD Shrink (freeware) and DvdFab Platinum are other good apps for ripping DVDs
Answer #6
No, the DVD you are ripping will not be changed or damaged. It is just like playing the DVD, and the data will be fine because store purchased movies are never on re-writable discs.

Thanks chris2u and .
So I’m sitting in my room thinking how cooooool this is because if I can rip a DVD then I can rip a borrowed DVD from the local video/dvd shops right?
Have YOU guys tried this? Is this do’able’? Will I get caught if it works and do it? ^____^
Answer #8
Why should you get caught? Earlier, I’ve done the same. Went to the video shop, get a movie, copied it to my HDD and next day have given it back. But, now I’m only downloading, it doesn’t cost anything.

I’ve been doing this for years, just don’t return your copy and not the original to your local video store.

You can download full DVD-9 with Extras, too.

^^^ Lol , easy to do…
Make sure the DVDs are nice and clean and free of fingermarks etc before ripping as the process is more critical of errors than just playing a DVD…

DVD43 is free program that that integrates into Windows and decrypts dvds on the fly and overrides copy-protection mechanisms found on DVD-Video discs search google ! I use this all the time
Answer #17
I use DvD Shrink to burn DvD’s I rent.
It’s awesome. Easy to use and works fine.
Answer #18
LoL, copying DVDs are easy, I use to do this before getting them off the Internet.
Get a DVD burner and DVD burning software.(I use Nero)
Get a DVD Ripper (I prefer using DVDFAB Platinum)
Put your DVD into your DVD burner then Rip it using DVDFAB choose what conversion you want. If none then just copy DVD to a source folder(Like C:/CopyoFDVD/Movie)
Then open Nero goto burn DVD Video files find your copy of the DVD and just select the AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS you want to burn and then select your burning speed, give your DVD a title with Nero and then click Burn.
It’s a lot easier then it sounds once you do it one time it’s like riding a bike. I just have no need for DVDs anymore I use wifi connections to watch my videos from my PC to TV….. yeah I am that cheap and lazy.

I’m using this DVDDecrypter 3.5.4.0 from http://www.google.com?t=268853
I haven’t actually tried to copy my DVD to my pc yet but I’ve installed it and I think I can do it.
I see that different people use different types of DVD copier but at the moment I am going to stick to DVD copier from http://www.google.com?t=268853
I will write down the ones you people mentioned on this topic Thanks!

With AnyDVD program I can copy DVD to my pc?
Do I need to have Clonedvd + AnyDVD to copy DVDs?
Answer #22
Any DVD runs in the background to remove copy and region protection (You can use it while playing a DVD too)
Clonedvd does the copying…
You need both because Clone dvd does not remove the protection..
Answer #23
Have YOU guys tried this? Is this do'able'? Will I get caught if it works and do it? It is not illegal to copy the original DVD for personal usage And If you don’t yell that you are doing something illegal you ,of course, wouldn’t get caught

Let’s get the ”AnyDVD” straight. What is ANYdvd? I’ve got this on my pc and I don’t even know what it does.

It’s kind of rude not to even google or look at the details in the thread you know ? AnyDVD removes the protection when you put the disc into your computer. CloneDVD makes another “clone”. If you really can’t understand it as I can see your not really used to using a computer then I suggest you don’t do it just in case you screw up your writer or something.
Answer #26
use anydvd to bypass the protection, it works really well for me
