Would I be able to put more memory into my computer, not very technical myself. Went onto Crucial.com site and this is what it came up for my computer. Currently installed memory: 1GBDDR PC2-6400 1GB Each memory slot can hold DDR2 PC2-5300 with a maximum of 1GB per slot.* *Not to exceed manufacturer supported memory. Maximum Memory Capacity: 2048MB Currently Installed Memory: 2GB Available Memory Slots: 0 Total Memory Slots: 2 Dual Channel Support: Yes CPU Manufacturer: GenuineIntel CPU Family: Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual CPU E2200 @ 2.20GHz Model 15, Stepping 13 CPU Speed: 2200 MHz Although the memory can be installed one module at a time, the best performance comes from using matched pairs of modules. Still confused can anyone help please. Thanks to everyone I got the computer made and this was what was on the receipt. Belarc’s says this Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3 (build 2600) Install Language: English (United States) System Locale: English (United Kingdom) Enclosure Type: Desktop Processor a Main Circuit Board b 2.20 gigahertz Intel Pentium Dual 64 kilobyte primary memory cache 1024 kilobyte secondary memory cache 64-bit ready Multi-core (2 total) Not hyper-threaded Board: ASUSTeK Computer INC. You won’t be able to add more RAM. It says that the maximum your motherboard can handle is 2GB, thats how much you have installed currently
