can someone here help me with Speed Download for OSX

This app works fine for me so far, but I cant figure out how to set up in the preferences to make it download links like for RS only…
what i mean is, whenever i go to download ANYTHING, it automatically downloads it in Speed Download.
For instance, I use newsgroups sometimes, and also use .nzb files to download. whenever I click on my .nzb download link, instead of it downloading in Firefox, Speed Download grabs it, makes it an .html file, and then i can’t use it…

what section is the right section?
there has to be a better method by the right-click, as in a preference setting to disable certain types of downloads, but I just dont understand some of the terms…

Have you tried Speed Download > Preferences > Plugin yet?
Try unticking the nzb extension to automatically be intercepted by Speed Download. If that still doesn’t work then you can try disabling the Speed Download plugin in Firefox. I use the FlashGot extension for Firefox and set it so that when I right click a set of links and choose “FlashGot Selection”, it will redirect those links to Speed Download.
And btw, you should of asked in the Helpdesk section.
