Call of Duty 4 license key

I found a no-cd patch thingo, but im wondering if there is yet a way to get around the “same license key” problem. This is not for online play btw
If it�s not for online play it can�t give a popup �playing with the same key�can it ? COD4 should work on LAN computers ( if 2 brothers or so buy the same game… why would they wanna buy 2 ? ).
