Black ops not working for me

i downloaded blackops skidrow from this post http://www.google.com?t=7397113&highlight=it was on rs. it installed everything just fine. when i tried to run the game at first nothing showed up but then i ran in safe mode and the game loads well at least to the ”click any key” screen im runing windows vista home premium 32bit sp1.
here is a screenshot of what i get i know i wont be able to play mp but least get to settings this also happens in single player mode.

the windows loading ring stays as it was loading something and i have no acces to click on exit or click on any key to go to next screen its like it blocks my mouse and keyboard input it lets me move the cursor around tho but no key imput i tried reinstalling game, taking keyboard apart even tried xpadder nothing worked i searched around for some help but no luck.
is there anyway around this perhaps lower grafic settings in some way without the game being launched. or any other solution.

it seems you did not read the entire post before posting. that was the first one i tried and same thing i can only get to the ”Click any key to continue”

it worked for me reinstall if you need, i got that error loading the mp by mistake, make sure its the blue one. or go into the directory and open BlackOps.exe or you can simply buy the game like i have and wait for it to be sent on economy delivery should be in by tomorrow for me, have to paly the cracked single player till then
