Best text-to-speech program and voice?

What is currently the best text-to-speech program and female/male voice to go with it, and why? I would like for it to read text aloud from any website, program, etc.. Thanks.

As far as i’m aware its IVONA, they sound the best and the Jennifer voice is remarkable. Hard to get hold of though, go to the website for a demo. This site has IVONA for download but it’s polish version only. Hope this helps.

att speech is pretty good too. Ivona has a bit of reverb and it sounds as if its coming from inside a person att sounds more on the surface output.
ivona can sound a lil noisy because of this, but on the whole, i think ivona sounds better. still att, and ivona are quite similar. and its easier to get ur hands on att speech. att integrates with windows (im sure ivona may as well), so any program that does tts will use those voices once installed on windows.
