Best software for uninstallation of those pesky programs?
August 7th, 2016
You know those pesky programs, ones that come with malware or not show up in control pa’s add/remove programs, the ones that always leave something behind? What’s the best program to use? Obviously it has to be safe too, so not damage the computer in being aggressive in removing them, but still do a very thorough job.
try CCleaner, i use it everytime i’m goin’ to uninstall something.
Your Uninstaller! , Good and has never done me any harm !

If you get something that won’t uninstall cleanly, delete everything you can under Program files,Program data
and all the User files.
Then I use Reg Organizer, look at the list of ‘Software’ entries, tick and delete what is appropriate..

Finally run through your PC with CCleaner or TuneUp Utilities
Thanks , but some people on CNET complain reg organizer cleans TOO MUCH, so rating is kind of low there 2/5.

Possibly – but CNet also came out with their own malware downloader crap – so an untrustworthy source, as far as I care.

It’s good to locate and delete entries for a specific software but yes it can be a bit much for a complete automatic clean.
You can undo the clean if you have problems though..
First use the standard add/remove programs. For any that aren’t listed, most of these are considered malicious/unwanted and can be removed with malwarebytes. Download/install the free version, update, and run a full scan. Remove any items it finds. For any remaining, you can use ccleaner free. Navigate to the “tools” menu on the left, click on startup, and remove the item in question. Be very careful not to remove any other items!
You can also use msconfig by pressing “Windows + R” and typing “msconfig”. Use the “startup” tab, and again use caution.
I have been using Your Uninstaller for many years
no issues till now cheers
