Battlefield 2 or 2142 or Crysis Wars

I’ve downloaded all 3 from but can’t get em to work online… I heard of Garena and I downloaded that and no clue as to how it works.
Should I just buy the game? Is that the only way to work it online?

garena is a lan program in which you connect to others p2p rather then dedicated servers. i’ve never personally used garena, so read up on the site for tutorials.

and if you want to efficiently play online, yes buy the game. i doubt there’s going to be anyone playing cryis wars over garena.
