[(Bad GFX Card)Solved]Help with Sins of a solar empire?

First I can’t use their forums, it is down I guess…
But off to the problem, I can start up the game just fine and it looks perfectly fine.
Never played the game before so I started up the tutorial.
All I see is some icons that look weird, and a LOT of blackness
I zoom out and see a picture of a planet, and some other stuff.
Zoom in more and the blackness continues, until I reach a point in which the right of the screen is now grey, the first right two inches or so.
What the heck is going on?

make sure u update them

Those don’t get updated often though >_>
I got my computer up about maybe 5 or 6 months ago, do you think they would have updated yet?

Maybe your video card cant run this game well, what is your video card?
I have played the game and everything went well, its a cool game btw

Try adjusting the graphics options, or if that doesn’t work it could be that you’re running it in an unstable openGL version?

The videocard might be the problem, I can’t run Warcraft 3 without a slight bit of choppiness.

I have a (According to device manager, I forget lol) a NVIDIA GeForce2 MX 100/200
Edit: DxDiag says it has 32mb total memory.
Only bad thing about my cpu is that video card :Try adjusting the graphics options, or if that doesn't work it could be that you're running it in an unstable openGL version?

I got it off a torrent, but it seems trustworthy, loads of seeders too. Downloaded in a less than two hours
Also the startup screen, behind the menu where you click single player and stuff I think I am supposed to see some nice pictures.
I see a strange composition of lines that looks like some jacked up C4D Render

i’d say put the graphics on totally lowest but lookin at taht screen it looks like its lowst

I recommend either Command and Conquer RA3 or AOE3
Either way, both work (to some degree) on your card.
Also, you card only had 32 mb of memory, SoaSE wants 128mb.
Even a gma 950 (integrated gfx-which can run this) beats that at 224

Ahhh. SC1 was very fun (first game I ever had played).
Then it was AOE2(for nearly 4years!)
Finally to CNC(RA2,GZH,3,RA3)
