Avast Vs virtual dj
August 12th, 2013
Anyone else or just me?
Probably the best thing to do is first save any important stuff you’re working on, then uninstall/re-install.
Preferably uninstall using a utility such as Revo, not the normal uninstall.
You might also try a different download, maybe the one you have really does have malware attached to it.
Maybe you need to put Virtual DJ in Avast’s ignore list..
Not really a case of losing stuff. It’s avast not allowing me to use virtual dj, which has never been a problem in the past until the recent update. My PC just closes there and now. I can turn avast off and use virtual dj…
That’s what I meant…Avast is detecting VirtualDj as a virus..
Avast should have some sort of ignore list, that you can add virtual dj files and/or folders to, so that Avast ignores those files while doing it’s checks, so that Virtual DJ will still run OK..
Here it is..

Add VirtualDJ to the exception list. If you still have the same problem, get a better AV.
