My father will buy an Asus P5QC (DDR2/DDR3) Motherboard. But all motherboard of Asus’ says “When installing total memory of 4GB capacity or more, Windows 32-bit operation system may only recognize less than 3GB. Hence, a total installed memory of less than 3GB is recommended.” So what should I do so I can get use the maximum memory (larger than 3 GB).

For windows to read more then 3gb of ram, you need a 64bit processor.
32-bit Processors read up to 4gb. 64-bit Processors read more then 4gb.
Lets say you have 4gb of ram on your 32bit processor, your comp will only read 3-3.5gb or ram, so your losing 0.5GB-1.0GB.

64-bit processor or operating system? It’s stated there “operating system”. But if it’s really processor, then what are the lists of 64-bit Intel Processors?

Hey, just go here:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=2010340343%2050001157&name=Intel
Where it says: 64 bit Support:
and it says Yes, those are the ones.
