asus eeepc with windows 7 starter

Hello,
I have bought a Asus EeePC 1005PE with windows 7 starter. I want to try out the new ubuntu for netbooks. I heard this OS runs very well on these little laptops. I dont have expierenced with ubuntu. So I might not like it. I dont want to try DUALBOOTS. I wonder if I can install ubuntu on the system. (this means remove windows 7 starter). Try it out.
The question is:
If I want to return, would I be able to reinstall windows 7 starter. For example download the windows 7 starter DVD (msdn edtion). Install this with my key.. Is this possible??
