Answer #2
Sure? My some kid at school bought one from there and he can record his xbox.
Answer #3
110%,For recording you need a recorder not a player and there’s
only 2 of em on that listing which are:

None of em have RCA/HDMI inputs so they can’t record
from your xbox,Your friend may have bought a product that
is unlisted.

But it’s very expensive. Look at this onehttp://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=360310608959&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT and it has the ability to let you load movies onto the HDD, which many don’t.
Edit. Sorry, I didn’t notice you wanted to input from your xbox. You will need something like this. It has HDMI too http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Astone-AP-110D-Full-HD-1080p-HDMI-Network-Media-Player-/360319651213?pt=AU_MultiFormatMediaPlayers&hash=item53e4b98d8d

Both of em just wont do,The first one only got one video
input which is RF and cant be used with XBOX,The 2nd one
got no video inputs at all only outputs and have an ethernet
input for streaming movies from a PC.

do so with this one as it does not have any video inputs
other then RF which the XBOX don’t have.

Did you read my edit? or are you ignoring it?
Answer #8
Isnt it saying that none of them are useful?

Did you read my edit? or are you ignoring it?

I did and i wasn’t ignoring it,In my post i referred to
both of the Ebay ones you mentioned as well as that expensive
$300+ one on pcdiy. You gotta understand that there’s a clear
difference between an input and an output,None of the ones
you mentioned have the needed inputs to record from an XBOX.
Man. I dont want to order a Haupagge HD PVR.
Why? Would it kill you?
Answer #10
They are to expensive. Is that one on ebay like a haupagge?
Answer #11

Mitch they are expensive for a reason they are the best recorder for ps3/360.
Buying an cheap one may bite you in the arse later when it comes to nothing working with it, can’t record in HD or simply won’t record at all.
You are best just buying the HD PVR, once you do you won’t regret it trust me on that.
Answer #12
if your Xbox has component (red-blue-green) connections and if you want to record to your PC this on works pretty good
it also has HDMI in but won’t record if your Xbox has HDCP protection, which I think it duz
