itunes will not let add ipa to my iphone.
says do not have Authorization..

Appsync 3.1 is for FW 3.1.x
AppSync 3.2 is for iPad ONLY! AppSync 4 is for iOS4.0 AppSync 4.1 is for iOS4.1
.So if you are on 4.0 you will need AppSync 4 if you are on 4.1 then install 4.1! Thats all!
my firmware is 4.1
when i go to istall 4.1 there is a note that reads
The requested modications cannot be applied due to required dependencies or
conflicts that cannot be automatically found or fixed.
so i just cancel.
My problem is itunes is giving a i need Authorization to add ipa to phone.
So i thought i had to update app sync…

You can’t update appsync, you can only install it…
and if you need authorization.. then authorize your PC in iTunes!
Thats my problem i did Authorization in itunes.
I redid it and it still will not allow to add ipa…

Do restore again, then if you are on 4.1 use 4.1 AppSync if you go on 4.0 use AppSync 4!
If i do restore what will happen to my jailbreak..?
I will lose everything on my phone….
Back the contents of your phone up, do a clean restore, rejailbreak, resync.

a lots of things will stay in iTunes ( apps, videos, contacts, etc… ) pictures save from My Computer… and thats all…
After you restore, jailbreak again install AppSync, restart iPhone, SYNC 1 free app, then Sync cracked and thats all
Will that backup my notes…
Won;t restore take me to 4.2????
4.2 isn’t out yet. If you’re worried about it, back up your SHSHs with Cydia and/or TinyUmbrella.
id step in and help out but prozac and blew this one outta here!

I used jailbreakme on my phone and have it all setup with everything i want.
Except i can’t get itunes to transfer ipa to phone..

Before you start you can make Backup in iTunes (if you want to… but if you ask me for important things you should use this… check link below)

1. Download TinyUmbrella (remeber that you MUST have installed JAVA and iTunes in order to work with it), run it as administrator (if you are on Windows 7), plug in iPhone, wait for detection and then click on SAVE MY SHSH and wait…. After that PM me screenshots of GENERAL window and LOG window also…. http://cache.firmwareumbrella.com/downloads/tinyumbrella-4.1.13.exe
2. After you do that you will download IPSW (I will let you know which one after you send me those screenshots)

3. After you download IPSW you will need to close all apps that work on port 80 such as Skype, TeamViewer etc…. and open TinyUmbrella run TSS server and then you will open iTunes, press and hold SHIFT on keyboard and then click on RESTORE BUTTON, it will ask you for IPSW, you will choose that downloded one and restore will start…
4. After you restore you will need to activate your iPhone ( with legit SIM card or with some app, we will see what FW you will use then we will see what ap you will need )
5. That should be all, after you restore your device, you will need to perform JB, to install AppSync and if you need unlock to do that also…

I don’t really think i need to restore.
I was able to add a different ipa from itunes..
It must be the ipa thats the problem.
It’s called my language pro.
I had it on the phone before..then i did the update and now the program crashes.
I could not find it again through installious..so i downloaded it on my pc and tryed to install that way.
i will try and find another version…and see if it works before i restore.
