Kaspersky PURE Or Kaspersky Internet Security
Kaspersky PURE Or Kaspersky Internet Security
This and common sense
Eset nod 32 and malwarebytes for the nasty ones
Kaspersky, Nod32 or Avira. I recomend you Kaspersky.
I use Norton Internet Security 2011, works great on windows 7 64 bit, doesn’t make the PC slow and has great features and security options, check the link below:

If you do heavy internet surfing then go for
Kaspersky internet security 2010 or 2011. So far most people in here recommend, Kaspersky, believe me, theirs a reason why is that..
Since your in a site, might as well DL it from here or buy it.
also, after the 30 day trial is over, try the “trial reseter” thats provided here in .
Do not go with the updated keys because those keys are blocked in less then 7 days, stick with the trial reseter. Another great one which happens to be a freeware is Malwarebytes (currently at version 1.46)
This is one is not a proactive antivirus so it won’t interfere with Kaspersky active protection.
It is recommended that you run Kaspersky and Malwarebytes for side to side protection.
But remember, antiviruses are not anti-idiots, meaning you can have the best antivirus in the world and still get one because you did some stupid ~love~.
So use common sense (logic) to stay safe in the online world
avg +malwarebytes
Never had a problem with AVG Free (anti-virus) and have been using it since 2004. Then it goes great with Spybot S&D + Ad-aware (one scanner may pick up what one can’t find.)
I see this question posted many many times, I hope one day a mod will just create a simple post about software for Windows if you are a GNU/Linux user like me below is a link. I have bookmarked, never needed it but hey, why not share anyway.
