Another Internet Download Manager/Rapidshare problem

I did a search for this issue and didn’t really find anything. If there is something and I missed it, I apologize.
When I download files from Rapidshare, it locks up my IDM. In order to get it to work, I have to kill the IDM.exe process and let it restart itself. Then it will work for a couple files and lock up again. Kill the process again, IDM restarts, all is well. What could be causing this? Thanks in advance!

maybe try to be more specific, large or small files, are you downloading them all, or just a few links?
wat OS version do you have, have you already search on the help file?

I only download 1 or 2 (television shows) files at a time due to my internet connection (I’m on a satellite). I have a Thinkpad W500, C2D T9400, 4GB RAM (showing about 3.3GB), 320GB 7200rpm Seagate HD. I had a Vista Home machine with lesser specs and had no issues.
I tried the search here and find other various issues, but not the one I’m having. I think its a software issue somewhere.

uninstall it and then remove registry and then install it properlly. if possible download another good copy. there might be a problem in the software itself.

I had this problem once, and it was happening due to windows firewall.
