annoying screen problem
August 7th, 2016
any1 know how to solve my annoying pink line( sometimes the whole screen pink!) screen???
WORSE, it hang every 3 seconds!!!!
I really hope anybody out there help me….
Its a problem with your video cable.try connecting your PC to another monitor.
same… no improvement at all
If the same problem is with another monitor, try checking the pins on your PC, they might have carbon or dust or one of the pins might be lose and about to break
not good, still the same…
Try changing OR checking your graphics
Card if you have one installed, if you don’t
have one installed – try updating your mother Board drivers
regards
have you tried getting a new cable and trying it? sometimes it is the cable that is bad.
ok thanks for the suggestion will, try it out
does your screen look like this

any way
i need you to take a screen capture (printscreen) and upload it and then post it here
if the pink line appears to all of us on our screens so it’s a software problem (i.e. drivers)
if not, It’s something wrong with your monitor
99% chance it is your graphic card, like says change your card and c if problem remains

see, im not very good at laptop, about the graphic card i think i don’t have one… at least as far as i know there is no nvidia or ati things in my laptop..
now we know it’s a hardware problem
we have two main options
1- your VGA card
2- The monitor itself, or the data cable attached to it
you need to do some work, try to eliminate one option at a time
try to replace your monitor, even try to connect your TV set to the computer if you have the needed cables
try to replace you vga card, or use the onboard one if you’re using a discrete card (If you have an onbard one ofcourse)
another thing that I know it can affect a monitor but i’m not sure if it can cause a problem like yours
have you recently moved any speakers or subwoofers near your monitor?
or did you put a florescent light near it (the most common EMI generator at home)
I’m afraid this is all i can do for you for now, good luck
EDIT
sorry didn’t notice that you’re on a laptop
one word (Warranty)
by the way, just the other day while i was browsing I saw someone complaining about the same problem and it only happens in IE9 (internet explorer)
and the screen appears so normal in all other applications
can i do this? i’ll try connect to other monitor and see if the pink screen still occurs on that other monitor then it will be my vga card problems, if i say the other monitor looks good… then it will be my monitor(im sure its cable right?) problem…

Is there any possible technician could troubleshoot this, i could ask them to troubleshoot my vga card or monitor cables… i don;t mind pay how much to troubleshoot it but it pain in the ass if i pay to buy new monitor or vga card
