Android Terminal

Guys there’s any app Android Emulator if i am not mistaken
It’s a Terminal for android.Previously when i was using Nokia N9..I can access my volume control & boost it up to maximum..Is there any way to do it on Android?
Or what’s the use of the terminal on Android??
