Age of Empires II: The Conquerors Ver. 1.0c Portable

I have been looking everywhere for the 1.0c portable version. The regular update says that it requires the retail cd to update, so I can’t use the other portable versions.
Will it work if I download the .iso and apply the patch there? I mean, this game is old, so there has to be some kind of crack for this out there.

Alright i have no problem dl’ing the .iso. I just need to know if I can apply the 1.0c update for it.
Some friends and I would like to play together and you have to have the same version. But they all have the game, so they can use the update. I can’t…haha obviously
I have a portable of the game, and it works great. It’s just not 1.0c

i have it. i got from a friend on usb. but i wanna know how to giv to another friend i have it in a rar file its 220mbs
