Adobe CS4 Master Collection Licensing [Mac]

April 28th, 2021

I’ve got the master collection installed on my iMac and recently (even though I have Little Snitch installed and deny all outgoing connections to Adobe), I have been getting the following message (when opening Photoshop, my most recently used application):

Is there a fix for this? I know there is a .dll file to fix the licensing for Windows, but I have looked around endlessly for a Mac fix with no success. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Answer #1
Anyone at all? This is an urgent request. Living without Photoshop is unbearable. Re-installing did nothing
Answer #2
me too
Answer #3
Did you use a Beta key? I had this issue, change the date back to January, use a newer keygen to find a new key. Only way to fix it that i found
Answer #4
hey i found way around this problem. i use dreamweaver and i used to get the same problem, untill now.
if you follow this directory /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe PCD/cache/cache.db and delete that file. worked for me hope it does the same for you.
Answer #5
I delete that file. Then I start Fireworks again. Asks for serial again. I enter something like “1325-0686-4065-3477-9648-5348” which is from a keygen. It again shows me “License expired” message. Does anyone have a NEW, LATEST, UPDATED keygen or serial for Adobe Master Suite CS4?
Answer #6

hey guys, I have a solution for you. I used to crack CS4 master collection in Windows, but it works for MAC too.
here we go
1 – open up the terminal.
2 – type “sudo -s” (without quotes)
3 – enter your password and press enter
4 – now you should see something like this: bash-3.2# 5 – type “nano /etc/hosts” (without quotes)
6 – go to the last line of the file and add a new line
7 – type “127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com” (without quotes)
8 – save the file and enjoy

I remember trying to help another MAC user who asked about this issue on a MAC a ways back. For what its worth, somebody came up with a fix for the exact same problem with Windows users. I applied it on my Windows 7 64-bits and it worked like a charm. It has to do with the amtlib.dll files. Here’s what the readme says. The problem is, the cracked amtlib.dll files apply to Windows, not MAC. However, I think if a solution for this was found for Windows, there has to be an alternative solution for MAC’s.
Adobe CS4 " Licensing for this product has expired " FIX!!! So you installed Adobe Creative Suite Master Collection or any of its other applications, and now you cant even open up any of these programs. Youre probably receiving the now semi-infamous Licensing for this product has expired pop up error.
This error will more than likely affect the use of the following programs:
Adobe InDesign CS4 Adobe Photoshop CS4 Extended Adobe Illustrator CS4 Adobe Flash CS4 Professional Adobe Dreamweaver CS4 Adobe Fireworks CS4 Adobe Contribute CS4 Adobe After Effects CS4 Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 Adobe Soundbooth CS4 Adobe OnLocation CS4 Adobe Encore CS4 Dont worry, because some guys over at who knows where got the fix that will save you many hours of headaches. The problem lies within the amtlib.dll file in each of the CS4 application directories. However, downloading a simple fix and updating each of the files with a newer one can solve this problem.
Step 1:
Download this file it includes both amtlib.dll files the second file(64bit) is only to be added to  photoshop (64bit) folder the rest use the regular amtlib.dll file:If you download this file skip to step 3 ! Code:
http://~ Dead file host ~/files/194411412/amtlib.dll_Files.rar
other files for step 2 using the " crack.bat ". Personally i like doing in manually its only like 17 files you need to change:
Code:
http://www.easy-share.com/1903472319/CS4LicenseFix.rar
Step 2:
Run the crack.bat file and allow for the file to be copied over to all the directories. This should fix all your problems.
If the above two steps didnt work, try the following:
Step 3:
Search for: amtlib.dll in the Adobe folder C:\Program Files\Adobe\.
Step 4:
Replace all the amtlib.dll files in each of the Adobe folders with the file in the downloaded fix.
ONLY do the following steps if the previous steps didnt work for you.
Step 5:
Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc, open the hosts file there with Notepad.
Step 6:
Add the following lines at the end of the file:
127.0.0.1 localhost
127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 practivate.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 ereg.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 activate.wip3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 wip3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 3dns-3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 3dns-2.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 adobe-dns.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 adobe-dns-2.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 adobe-dns-3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 ereg.wip3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 activate-sea.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 wwis-dubc1-vip60.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 activate-sjc0.adobe.com
::1 localhost
Step 7:
Go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe PCD\cache
and delete the file cache.DB
Step 8:
Enter a new serial number for the applications and open up any  Adobe Creative Suite program.
Now everything should be working fine.
