About 64 bit

hi guys..
can anybody please tell me that
can i run 64 bit vista ultimate on my computer
processor: dual core E2200
RAM: 1 GB
Motherboard: ASUS P5KPL-VM
can i??

well its not recommended to with those specs but its still 64bit compatible. You have less than 2GB ram so its gonna lag and 64bit reads more ram, theres no point getting it with less than 3.5GB ram anyway

It doesn’t (necessarily) have anything to do with your processor or how much RAM you have, AzN…It depends on if your mobo is compatible or not…

Infact , it only depends only on your Processor ie whether it has a 64 bit instruction set which i think a dual core E2200 surely has it
btw XP 64 should suit your specs
1 GB of RAM cannot handle vista.

It does depend on your CPU and RAM…Good Graphics card does help too….And 1 GB is not even enough for 32 bit….maybe you should stick with XP….
