Aborted partitioning of a hdd OUCH

Long story short. I had to partition C: drive. I did it using partition magic 8. WHen it was partitioning it got stuck at about 10%, so I had to restart the computer. But after that computer would not turn on. So basically I got an external 2.5″ enclosure for laptop hdd. I plugged that into my computer and it says “G:\ is not accessible. The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable.” So at this point, what can I do? Any resonable recovery programs I can use?

Do you have any important data in that drive?
And stay away from partition magic…Too outdated..Use Acronis Disk Director Suite…

Why didnt you use a Windows CD or Linux CD to partition? You could try Acronis or Hiren Bootdisk has some partition tools that you might wanna give a try.

Try GetDataBack to recover your data…If GetDataBack can’t access the drive just Use Acronis Disk Director Suite to delete the partition and recreate it…GetDataBack can still recover the data even after a format…

In the link in my siggy leads to my virus removal tutorial. I posted version 9.4 there too, however theres new one out there that is 9.6. They look almost same except new one might have 3 or 4 more apps.

Yes but I’m downloding Acronis as a free user. I guess I could use a rs generator.
