Dual Laptops Used As One
October 24th, 2013
What I want to do is to be able to play a game on my main laptop and use another laptops screen/mouse/keyboard to dual monitor the computer.
But with the second laptop I want to still have the desktop up so I can do other stuff while playing the game.
So an example would be me playing Battlefield 3 on this laptop and leaning over to my netbook and putting on music or browsing the internet.
If this is still too vague, I will be happy to further clarify.
Thanks in advanced
Most laptop’s do not have a video input, only output.
So probably not possible.
Thats what I feared, but I was thinking of maybe there being a program or something xD
Like teamviewer or like programs that actually allow you to control your computer from a remote one.

You answered your own question.
You can also use VNC, will be faster over lan.
But that wont quite do what you were originally asking.
Yea, so I didn’t answer my question :p because I want to be able to have one screen with my desktop and its own mouse and keyboard.
While the other has the game.
Would this be possible with another monitor?
Like being able to designate a keyboard/mouse to that screen?
I’ve seen this a month ago but never tried it. Try it out and let us know how it goes.

That looks really cool and I will probably give it a look.
But I’m trying to set it up so two computers have the same desktop (one has access to the other)
and I can be using a keyboard and mouse to play and then use another set up to do something else.
Sorry to double post, but I am just trying to bump and I didn’t know if editing would do this.
I just need to know if this is possible.
