Skyrim-Stuck at quest The Blessing Of Nature.

I am stuck at this quest where I am suppose to take part of the tree called Eldergleem sap in Eldergleem Sanctuary simply because this tree’s roots are blocking the way and I can not approach it.Does anyone know how to solve this?

Equip the needler dagger thing the lady sent you to get first and hit the roots, they will move! I was stick for a few here as well until I just started running around hitting things with the dagger until something worked. Just hit the roots blocking the path. Good luck and enjoy!
