help finding a driver for my motherboard

August 5th, 2016

I just reformatted my mums pc last night, and i cant connect to the internet. I realise that i apparently have to install the driver for my motherboard. I dont know what motherboard it is, but i have this information. Could someone help find the correct driver for me. Thanks

Answer #1
Unfortunately that doesn’t tell us what the motherboard model actually is! But then again it also says that is a laptop, so getting drivers might be a problem. Didn’t it come with a restore disk? The necessary drivers would be on there.
Answer #2
If you could provide the model identification it might be easier to help.
Answer #3
go to the toshiba website with the lappy model # and search under support or downloads for your network adapter(NIC) driver
or post the model here
Answer #4
thats what ive done…still cant find much, becuase its an old model.
its a Toshiba Tecra M3
EDIT: I have 2 of these laptops, 1 is the reformatted one with xp and another one is normal straight out of the factory, internet working and all.
EDIT 2: The model number is PTM03A-026002
Answer #5
Download Belarc and stick it on a disc and install it on your laptop, that normally tells you all about your motherboards and that http://www.belarc.com Or you could do the same with Everest
