XBOX 360 Key extraction from Liteon drive

August 5th, 2016

Just bought brand new 360 and it’s got a DG-16D2S ‘Philips & Lite-on Solutions Corp’ drive fitted.
I (think) need to extract the key to reprogram a new drive (seen lots on ebay from china) then ixtreme it.
From other posts I gather that the key extraction might be difficult, has anyone managed this procedure?
Any help appreciated – as always

If you can’t extract the key, then do MS throw away XBOX360’s when the drive fails, that’s what you’re suggesting……
