Is it only on this DVD or with others as well? I’ve used MT Solutions DVD Recovery to grab the files from a Gears of War disc my drive didn’t like, and that seemed to work ok.

yeah same here, i used ultraiso to grab the files i wanted, i just made an iso.
so, the laser isn’t faulty and the disc isn’t, so then whats the problem?
also i have daemon tools
also i uninstalled nero and rebooted
ALSO i flashed the firmware from JL12 to JL12, dunno if that helped

MT is slightly different than UltraIso, it can recover discs that don’t seem to read – but takes a while to do it.
Have a try with it, link below. (I included some pre-generated serials, there was a couple results from the online file scanner, but all the decent AV’s reported the keygen as fine. I rarred it inside the main rar.)

hmm… im thinking that my vista is broken, cause on bootup, all these messages popup, saying that all kinds of drivers are missing
dammit, this means its time for a REINSTALL
basically, i want to be able to look at the files in explorer without making an entire iso of the files, so if i have 3 gb of crap but i have a150mb movie i want, then yeah you should be able to understand

You can choose what you want to recover with that program, you don’t have to let it make a whole iso from the disc. If you’re getting missing drivers in Windows, then maybe it’s a good time to re-install anyway – can you read the disc you’re trying to get stuff off in another PC?

You could try installing from the ISOs by mounting it through Daemon Tools. You could then use a crack to play it.
