Swithing Ati to Nvidia

Heya I am swtiching my graphics card and have ordered the parts in my local computer shop and they are going to install tommorow. What shall I do before I take it their, Shall I uninstall the Drivers?

it depends on the type of video cards: many video cards support an automatical removal of the old drivers. but you will never make a mistake if you unistall the old drivers before installing the new ones.

Thanks, if I remove the drivers, will my desktop decrease performance?It is only for a day, but I still need my session of gaming.
