For me personally windows ultimate doesn’t provide anything more worthwhile, feature wise, than windows home premium (apart from maybe the xp mode). Which is why i bought the home premium version.
Use Ultimate, it would suit your needs (if you meet the necessary requirements, that is)….
Home Premium is more than enough for common use of most ppl.

Some functions from Win7 ultimate must be excessive for common users and moreover take up the disk space of you PC.Home Premiumis more than enough for common use of most ppl.

I like Home Premium just fine, doesn’t look like ultimate has anything else I’d actually use.

Moving.
Well, if you want the best, go ahead with Win7 Ultimate. It got everything packed up . Mind that you can choose the Win7 according your necessity, It won’t be needed unless you are going to use it all …
It depends on what you are going to use your computer for. If you are using your computer for basic, everyday functions, home premium is good enough for you. If you plan to use it for work, professional or ultimate may be the best because of xp mode and their enhanced networking capabilities.
