What is a good program for editing MIDI from my keyboard?

I want to know a program that will allow me to record and edit MIDI tracks (made from my keyboard) and be able to adjust notes, change instrument, add effects, etc. and make professional instrumentalz with my keyboard. If you know a program that will let me do that, please tell me!

just use the Cakewalk Sonar, Cubase, Or Protools…

but it is more advanced i think.
