auto shutdown

ok, so everytime i turn on my computer it shuts off
the cmd window comes up and it keeps saying shutdown -d -t 2 or something like that
EVERYTIME, and it doesn’t let me go into safe mode either, i got lucky and finally got in, so if someone could help, that would be tremendous

start up in safe mode and remove that batch file which will end with .bat, someone has played a prank on you

start in safe mode which disables it, and then try to find all the start up programs use

You can disable this shutdown by following the steps below during the countdown
1. Click on Start, Run
2. Type in CMD and press ENTER
3. Type in the following command and press Enter
SHUTDOWN -A
This will terminate the shutdown, however in most cases the system may be to unstable to try to recover and may need to be rebooted anyway.

It’s a batch file, not infection. I used to hook it up to the my schools network and start it on start up so all computers would shutdown after start up

:S could be a problem, try to move cmd.exe in system32 to a folder in safe mode and then go back and install the file and then remove the .bat. After that move cmd.exe back to system32

bootvis is a boot optimization progie if forces a restart during the optimization process if it’s not already installed it won’t help you
if it is installed it only reboots once so I don’t think that’s the problem
