restore factory settings

Hi just wondered if i restored factory settings which would wipe my laptops c drive would it leave my d drive (which is a second partiton ) intact e.g not wipeing it.
Anyone know please

Yeap..You got it..The C partition/drive will be wiped…No change to D…

could i make d drive bigger from the c drive so i can backup more data on the d drive

Not sure…It depends…
If you are talking about drives…The answer is no..
If 2 partions that are on the same drive…You can resize the C partition down and add the free space to the D partition…

i have restore on dvd are you sure this wont wipe d drive as well

Just some advice here. If you are going to resize or even restore the C partition and it is part of the same drive that D partition is on, you may want to backup what is on the D partition for safe keeping. Just in case the partition resize goes wrong or even the C restore goes wrong. Backup Backup Backup.

Yes I’m sure…It will only restore the operating system to C…
