[SOLVED] How Can I Download Videos From 4oD?

I was wondering how can I download the videos on this site:
www.channel4.com/programmes/4od
Ive tried using IDM but it can’t ‘grab’ the videos, is there any other way I can get them (without screen recording)

I’m not sure if you can. The link just leads to their page where they have an embedded video. I wasn’t able to find an embedded link anywhere, so you might be out of luck.
I tried it using JDownloader and tested it on multiple shows.

Do not know, but you probably need a url catcher to see what the url of the video is, then a stream catcher recorder software to record it with.

I think they’ll be hard to do these days, it was possible at one time, it was the same with BBC IPlayer but there always finding fixes for it, i cant complain with them services as i get to choose what i want to watch (with the adverts) without sitting in front of a TV watching stuff i do, 4OD do have a youtube page though with programs on, you could try that with various ripping softwares, hope this helps

Gotta set up a proxy to watch it in US but I beleave FastStone Capture would be able to do a live capture as a last resort.

I wanted comedy kinda shows like Balls Of Steel and Little Box of Horrors, and I cant seem to find them anywhere on the net. Well not from the very first Series, anyway.

4OD are actually on youtube, find their channel and then download that video, the entire show is in one part too then use any of those youtube download programs (google it) and your done

Could you recommend me a good/working YouTube video grabber for these type of videos?
I think because it is from 4oD they wont allow downloading, IDM usually is able to grab YouTube videos, and so is a FireFox extension that I normally use.

May i know what program you used to download the files please? 4od on Youtube protects their video source streams. The only other option i see possible is to use screen recording software like camtasia, which is time consuming….
