[Solved] rapidshare website…

well its only just started about an hour ago, ive asked my friend if he can get onto www.~ Dead file host ~ and he can. The only way i can get onto www.~ Dead file host ~ is by using a proxy site which isnt very good as i cannot download with most proxies as they do not support what i need. has anyone got the same problem?
Also im on virgin media internet if that helps! thanx for reading

Are you at home or at work? Have you set any filter which could block any websites?

ive got no filters, it only stopped working an hour ago and im at home, im the admin of the internet so no filters would be turned on anyways

Im from UK, also having this problem, rapidshare does this me, dunno why either…
Hadn’t done it in ages but done it earlier on today

Are you using Firefox? If yes. Try it on IE. I too face the same problem at times. Firefox shows ‘cannot connect while IE is able to access the site.

tried google chrome, IE, havnt got any other brousers installed. ive tried it on my laptop aswell and still not working, anyone got any ideas why its not working and is it my problem or is it a problem due to rapidshare?

Just give a call to your ISP to be sure, they might also help you out with eventual problems on your side.

I’m with the same ISP…Never had a problem with rapidshare…And I just tried it now…Working fine…The problem probably on your side…

yup just sorted it, was due to my router, had to reset it. i dont know what caused it to muck up in the first place though as i changed no settings. nvm its fine
